CLUB RULES

Do’s and Don’ts for Parents, Helpers and Mangers.

· Encourage players and their team.

· Be constructive, show or explain how things should be done rather than criticise mistakes.

· Be on time for matches and training.

· Let the manager know if your child cannot make training or matches.

· Be humble in victory and gracious in defeat.

· Praise good behaviour.

· Praise good effort and diligence.

· Help with nets and posts before and after matches.

· Phone if in doubt about a match (particularly in bad weather).

· Report any incident of bullying or bad behaviour.

· Contact the Club with any concern or problems.

DO NOT

· Shout abuse at players, referees or opposition.

· Criticise mistakes, we all make them and learn from them.

· Be late for matches or training.

· Treat the Football Club as a child Minding service (Sorry if this sounds a bit strong).

· Assume that matches are off in bad weather.

DO’S and Don’ts for Players.

· Be on your best behaviour at all times.

· Respect other people’s (player’s) property.

· Help and encourage your team-mates at training and in your match.

· Listen to your manager.

· Play fair

· Be on time for your training and matches.

· Make sure you know the time of your match.

· Let your manager know should you not be able to make your training or your match.

DO NOT

· Mess about or behave badly.

· Bully or slag-off other teams or players.

· Curse or use bad language.

· Be abusive to referees, managers or opposition.

· Be late for matches.
